Watercolor has been my medium of choice for a long time. It is relatively clean does not give off dangerous gasses or dust, is portable, and you can tear it up and start over.
There is no limit to my subject matter. Because I moved a lot when younger and raising a family, and later traveled a lot for fun, I have learned that there will be images to capture everywhere. By now I have figured out what watercolor does best.
I took all the art classes I could at Colby Junior College and then went on to Bennington College where I finished up majoring in art. After raising a family I took up watercolor and ended up teaching it and entering competitions and working for and with galleries.
Now I paint when the flowers bloom or the cows come home.
